Spirit of Giving Campaign

Airco Heating & Cooling Spirit of Giving Campaign
Help warm someone's heart with our Spirit of Giving campaign!
UPDATE: Dates of the Campaign - We are now accepting nominations all year, and will choose at least one recipient per year.
Since 2017, Airco Heating & Cooling has given away a new fully-installed gas forced-air furnace including a new thermostat to a deserving homeowner in the Fraser Valley area who has demonstrated a financial or situational need where they are unable to replace their old and outdated furnace.
Our family has been very fortunate to be a part of this amazing community and we want to give back in a meaningful way. With so many worthy charitable causes, we had some difficulty in deciding what to do.
At an industry conference, we met someone who faced the same question, and then after we read about a family who suffered a tragedy because they couldn't afford a new furnace, we realized we should stick to what we do best.
We contacted our friends and furnace distributor, Refrigerative Supply Ltd., and they were excited to get on board and by donating a premium furnace and we will do the installation at no cost to the homeowner! So, we are searching for a deserving family! The family should own their home, but their circumstances have made it impossible to upgrade their old furnace.
How does the Spirit of Giving Campaign work?
We need you to nominate the family from the Fraser Valley, including Surrey, who needs a new furnace and describe why their situation is unique. Nomination applications will be accepted online (using the form below).
Spirit Of Giving
Please nominate someone you feel could use a new furnace.
A decision committee will review the nominations and choose the recipient by January 16th. A representative from Airco will visit the home of the top choice to confirm the installation requirements and eligibility, with installation to occur shortly after.
We are excited to help "Warm Someone's Heart this Holiday Season" and we appreciate your help in finding that family!

2024 Spirit of Giving Campaign Recipient
We received this nomination from one of our customers. Gail is a senior in our community who continues to care for her adult children with disabilities. She is someone who was there for everyone and continues to be there for her family despite the challenges of life and age. We were glad to be there for her.

2019 Spirit of Giving Campaign Recipient
This year, we helped a senior who was living with a dangerous old furnace but couldn't afford a new one. She was nominated by family to recognize her years of concern and compassion for others.

2018 Spirit of Giving Campaign Recipients
From our family to yours, we are pleased to announce that the Pearce family from Langley were the recipients of a new furnace through Airco's Spirit of Giving Campaign. The Pearce's have 4 children and had a furnace that was over 40 years old. Upon inspection, it was deemed to be very unsafe and needed to be replaced immediately. Our friendly and highly skilled service team rolled in and installed a beautiful new high-efficiency furnace. The Pearce's are a great family and it is rewarding to have been able to improve the comfort and safety in their home.
Thank you to everyone that nominated people and families for the Spirit of Giving campaign in 2018. Together we can all make a difference in our community.

2017 Spirit of Giving Campaign Update
After reviewing the nominations list, our selection committee chose a family in Maple Ridge who were grieving the loss of their son during the horrible events in Las Vegas in October of 2017. They desperately needed a new furnace and were planning to replace it but due to the tragedy, this was the last thing on their minds.
It was extremely emotional but we were so grateful to have the opportunity to help them during their most difficult days. No words can really describe how it felt to connect with such a wonderful family, and the experience reminded us all how life is precious and we should all appreciate the time we have together.
