Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an installation assistant/apprentice. The responsibilities of the Install assistant/apprentice include assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential heating and cooling comfort solutions. Ultimately, a top-notch HVAC helper should be physically fit, good with their hands, able to effectively follow instructions and a good problem solver. The position will lead to a formal apprenticeship for the right candidate.

  • A driver’s license is preferred.
  • Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in written and verbal communications. Additional language skills are considered an asset.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have outstanding customer service skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/ electricity).
  • Very punctual and dependable.
  • Must be willing to wear company-supplied clothing.
  • Maintain company vehicle to a neat clean and safe standard.
  • You are honest, patient, and proud of the work you do.
  • You're not afraid of smartphones and electronic technology.
