ecoEnergy Program now closed to new applications - Monday, January 30, 2012

Registrations Closed / New Deadline for Evaluations
After reaching their goal of 250,000 registrations, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) stopped accepting new registrations into the federal grant program on January 28, 2012. The deadline to complete work remains March 31, 2012, however the deadline to obtain a post-retrofit evaluation for work completed by March 31, 2012, is now June 30, 2012. LiveSmart BC Announces New Energy Efficiency Program Effective April 1 2011. - Tuesday, April 12, 2011
In partnership with BC Hydro and FortisBC, the Province of British Columbia is extending and improving its popular LiveSmart BC: Efficiency Incentive Program, where homeowners can receive more than $7,000 in rebates for energy saving improvements and equipment.

To access the rebates, homeowners must hire a certified energy advisor to conduct an energy-efficiency assessment prior to and after making any eligible improvements. The advisor will handle all the paperwork in applying for provincial incentives after the post-retrofit assessment.

Did you know that the BC Government is introducing new efficiency requirements for residential Hot Water Heaters in 2010?   Ultimately it is the province’s vision to implement a .80EF requirement for gas water heaters.  If your tank is beyond its warranty period, talk to us about replacing your tank now.

 Model and serial numbers may be found on your equipment or possibly on your bill of sale.

Furnaces - often found inside the front service area.  Lift off the front service panel and look for a 4 or 5 inch sticker on the inside.   If you are not comfortable searching for it, don't worry as our service technician will record it for you, but it may help us serve you better and faster.
